GENERAL INFORMATION
Soon, students will start scanning in as they arrive to each class.  Please remember to bring your ID card with you every day, or you can scan the “ID card” barcode in the Skyward app on your phone.  Make sure you wait until your name shows on the screen before taking your seat.

Today’s dress up theme for spirit week is Decades  (Freshmen 60’s, sophomores 70’s, juniors 80’s, seniors 90’s). We will be counting during 5th period. Today’s game will be “Name that tune” at lunch in the cafeteria.
Wacky Wednesday:  (Wacky hair, wacky socks, backwards clothes)
Thursday:  Dynamic Duo/Twins
Friday:  Crimson Hawks  (Wear crimson and black)
The Library will be closed at lunch this week.  Join the lunchtime games, or cheer on your friends!

The homecoming dance will be this Saturday from 7 to 10 pm.  Tickets are $5 at the office and they will be available before and after school, during break, and at lunch.  If you qualify for free or reduced lunch, you may be able to get your ticket free of charge.  See Kristi Arms in the main office if you have questions.  All students who get their tickets at the dance will pay $10 each, regardless of free/reduced status.

Picture retake day is this Friday.  If you haven’t had your picture taken yet, please plan to be here Friday morning so that you can get an ID card.  If you want retakes, turn in your original packet to the photographer.

Homecoming dance is just around the corner and it’s been awhile since we’ve cut a rug together. The sound crew and DJs are looking to add more songs to our dance playlist and we need your help. In your graduating class’s Google Classroom, there will be a Google Form to submit songs to be played at our High School dances. We look forward to seeing what songs you want played.

On Friday Oct 22 there will be an Environmental Sciences Career Day held at Spokane Community College in Spokane. Anyone interested in attending the SCC Natural Resources Career Day needs to sign up with Mrs. Nelson in room 610. The tour will include careers in Agriculture, GIS, Greenhouse, Fish and Wildlife, Landscape Design, Forestry, Parks and Recreation, Water Resources Technology and Wastewater Management.

Key Club will host a Blood Drive @ CHS Wed. Nov. 3, 9 am – 2:15 pm. Scan the QR code on the poster to sign up. 16 and 17 need parent permission – forms in the office or at https://vitalant.org/. See Mrs. Nielsen for more information.
